ACI offers a cost-effective, combination transmitter with main unit and remote unit for mounting height flexibility.

The two-piece Q6/B6 Toxic/Combustible Gas Transmitter Series is designed as a main unit to measure CO and a separate remote unit to monitor a second, user-determined toxic or combustible gas.

Perfect for standard applications such as parking garages where carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide concentrate at different heights; they can also be used in unique applications such as monitoring semi-truck exhaust fumes that are released via exhaust stacks, rise, then later cool and sink.

In a parking garage, the main (CO) unit would be mounted 4’ to 6’ off the floor and the remote (NO2) would be mounted 18” off the floor. In a semi repair shop, the NO2 sensor could be mounted near the ceiling, closer to the height of a semi-truck stack exhaust.

Other applications include: Mechanical Rooms, Underground Parking Garages, Boiler Rooms and Truck/Auto Repair Shops.
