ACI’s New ECM Current Switch Generates a Buzz at the 2023 AHR Expo

The new ECMCS25-A current switch for ECM motor applications made a big impact at the well-attended AHR Expo that was recently held in Atlanta, GA. ACI booth staff realized the positive buzz early on as people began flowing into the booth on the first day specifically requesting to see the new switch.

The use of ECM motors is increasing in the building automation industry due to their high efficiency and low noise. The challenge of accurately monitoring the current on these motors is known to many. ACI’s new ECM current switch features a trip point that is adjustable down to 0.075 amps to effectively handle these needs without complicating the installation process by requiring wire wraps like many other solutions on the market. Its small footprint makes it a good fit even in tight spaces.
