At ACI, we take immense pride in our commitment to inclusivity and the incredible talents that individuals of all backgrounds bring to our workplace. Today, we are thrilled to spotlight Julia Lehane, our dedicated day custodian and a remarkable individual who has overcome challenges to thrive in a supportive work environment.
Julia became a valued member of the ACI family on November 13, 2018, through a partnership with Integrated Community Work, Inc. (ICW), a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing a range of supported employment services and community-based opportunities to adults with developmental disabilities.
ICW believes that, with advocacy, training, and support, every working-age person they serve has the opportunity to work in their community. Their mission aligns seamlessly with ACI's values, emphasizing individualized services, job development and placement, and ongoing long-term support. Julia's journey is a testament to the success that can be achieved when individuals are provided with the tools and support they need to thrive in competitive employment that aligns with their talents, interests, and abilities.
Throughout her time at ACI, Julia has been instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Julia's dedication to her role became even more apparent, taking the lead in sanitizing surfaces throughout our facilities multiple times a day, ensuring the well-being of our employees.

In addition to her contributions to the workplace, Julia actively participates in ACI's philanthropic efforts, embodying the spirit of community engagement. Her enthusiasm for giving back and her genuine connection with her colleagues have made her an integral part of the ACI family.
What sets Julia apart is her commitment to celebrating every occasion, and bringing joy to the workplace. She dresses up for holidays, volunteers at the company's philanthropic events, and even goes the extra mile by handing candy for Valentine’s Day. Julia's infectious spirit and warm gestures enhance the sense of community within ACI.
Furthermore, Julia's personal touch extends to remembering every employee's name and birthdate. She is the first to celebrate birthdays, adding a personalized touch that fosters a sense of camaraderie among the ACI team.
