ACI in Shanghai

ACI’s President and International Sales Manager recently traveled to meet with our Shanghai Liaison Office.  It was exciting to see first hand how professional and detail orientated this organization is.  We were thoroughly impressed with their country, culture, and business acumen.  It is ACI’s pleasure to have them as an extension of our company.  We expect to have a long and prosperous relationship with them.

RoHS Update

ACI is proud to announce that it has made major strides towards being fully RoHS compliant.  One major OEM now has all of their corresponding ACI part numbers fully compliant.  This is a major step in having all the products that we manufacture meet those guidelines.

ACI is proud to announce that we are now a preferred vendor for the Controls Group of North America.  Our first chance to experience the synergy of the members network was at the 2006 Spring Conference in Indian Wells, California.  As the newest preferred vendor, we had an opportunity sit face to face with several key members of CGNA.  We greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss all the positives that we can bring to the group and look forward to the mutual growth that comes from this endeavor.

We would also like to thank all of our new friends for making us feel welcome!

ACI Manufacturer of the Year

(2 Time Winner 1995, 1999)

Press Release

Intensive employee training practices have paid off handsomely for Automation Components Inc., Middleton. The nine-year-old company has become a leading global manufacturer of sensors and transmitters used in the commercial heating, ventilating and air conditioning industry. A highly skilled Automation Components, Inc. staff allows the company to pursue innovations using the latest industry technology to remain a major manufacturer in its field. In fact, Automation Components, Inc. hires most of its engineers and technicians from local institutions, helping to stem the tide of Wisconsin 's perceived "brain drain" phenomenon.

Automation Components, Inc. requires all new hires to undergo a two-week training session in the company's main assembly area. This ensures all employees understand the manufacturing process and products, and allows for innovative input from the entire workforce. An intense training program also is in place for employees switching positions within the company. These employee training series - as well as compensation packages that average higher than most competitors - have been credited with generating higher quality products, increased job satisfaction and low turnover, and a safe work environment.
This award was presented to ACI on February 26th at the Pfister Ballroom in Milwaukee WI .
