The plastic enclosure strap on configuration has a sensor potted to the back side of a copper plate and a foam pad creates compression when the strap worm drive is tightened. The final result is a good thermal transfer with pipes that range from 2 to 5 inches in diameter.

Please note that the plastic enclosure is rated to 140 degrees F. For higher temperature applications, the -GD enclosure option is recommended.
