ACI/PXP Series

The ACI/PXP converts an analog input signal into a proportional pneumatic output ranging from 0 to 15 psig.  The PXP will automatically modulate, it’s control valve to control the branch line pressure to the selected setpoint as determined by the input signal. The input signal may be either a 0 to 5, 0 to 10, 0 to 15 VDC or a 4 to 20 mA signal.

Another notable feature of the PXP is that it has an adjustable, manual override potentiometer that can be used to increase or decrease the pneumatic output.  An LED is supplied for power indication.  When unlit, the LED shows that there is no power to the ACI/PXP.  All PXP’s contain a 0 to 5 VDC feedback signal that may be used to monitor the branch line pressure.

The ACI/PXP0.3 is a single valve version that has no orifice and does not bleed or exhaust air.  It depends on its branch line consuming anywhere from 14 to 73 scims.  The PXP1, 5,

and 7 are constant bleed controllers, with branch response times determined by orifice size and pressure differentials.  Both the PXP2.3 and PXP2.3FS incorporate two valves and are not constant bleed controllers.  Their branch exhaust flow and response times are similar to its load rate.

If power is lost to the PXP0.3 and PXP2.3, they will not exhaust any additional air from the branch line as long as there is no leak.  Where as the PXP1, 5, 7, and PXP2.3FS will bleed air until the branch pressure is equal to 0 psi.
