About ACI
Welcome to Automation Components Inc.
| Automation Components, Inc. was initially formed in 1991 in Middleton, Wisconsin. ACI also has offices as far reaching as Moncton, New Brunswick and Hong Kong, China. ACI has grown considerably each year since 1991 to become one of the leaders in the sensor industry and was twice named “Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year”. ACI’s number one goal is to maintain its status as a high quality sensor manufacturer. ACI’s sensors have been installed in well-known places such as Walt Disney, Rockefeller Plaza, Caesar’s Palace, The Sydney Opera House and The Library of Congress. | ||||

Temperature
![]() |
In 1991, ACI’s initial focus was to develop a line of temperature sensors. Currently, ACI manufactures the industry's widest selection of sensing elements and configurations. |

1996
Pressure
![]() |
In 1996, ACI developed its first pressure transmitter, the ACI/DP. It combines jumper selectable ranges with a highly accurate capacitive sensor.

1999
Humidity
In 1999, ACI broke into the Relative Humidity market with a strong initial entry, the ACI/RH line. This product line is still making waves in the industry based on its reliability and performance.

2002
Enthalpy
| In 2002, ACI used its experience with relative humidity sensing to design an enthalpy sensor. In addition, two sensors can be combined to provide a differential enthalpy using the ACI/DIFF-ENT. | ||||

2006
Current
![]() |
In 2006, ACI made another big leap introducing a line of Current Sensors and Switches. ACI expects big things from this entry as it has tested extremely well versus the competition.

Mini Current

ACI’s latest product accomplishment is a compact current switch that is rated to 150 Amps has a limited 5 year warranty. This quality product is designed for applications that include fans, pumps, compressors, and other AC supplied equipment.

ACI has developed the ideal compliment to its Current Sensor and Switch line, a snap on relay option! It has a patented DIN rail mounting option for quicker and cleaner installations. The flexibility to mix and match allows this product to save you on inventory and reduce SKU’s.
Each unit has LEDs for switch status to help with installation and Form 1C SPDT Relay Outputs ( N/O, N/C, and Common Terminals). In addition, they offer higher coil voltages and can also be used as a standalone relay as they are pilot duty rated. |
